As soon as I saw that this product was named after glass hair, I was sold. I often wear wigs as protective styling, but I opted to try and revive my Afro curls by blowdrying them into a sleek bun.

The product is cute, compact and has a sturdy pump spray nozzle that delivers a thin mist of product evenly across your hair. Then comes the magic. A little goes a long way and to avoid product build up, I’m stingy in the amount I spray. I also spray it over the roots as that’s where I notice the most frizz. I used a hair waver to style my hair and the waves are way shinier than usual. I can’t quite get over how impressed I am. My hair really is givin’ glass.

I followed the instructions on the bottle, liberally misting my mid-lengths and ends before blow-drying the product in to activate. I rough-dried my hair dry with my hairdryer, rather than barrel-brushing it smooth so I didn't notice the megawatt shine that perhaps I would have if I'd incorporated some sleeker styling techniques. To be honest, I didn't mind as super sleek strands aren't really my style – I prefer something a little mussier. However, I did notice how the condition of my hair improved and it felt much silkier and softer to touch. It laid a great groundwork for follow-up styling – when I curled with my tongs, the wand glided through my hair. What I love most is the yummy, creamy coconut scent, which gives pure tropical va-cay vibes. It didn't way my hair down at all, and for under a tenner its an affordable way to keep my ends healthy and conditioned.

I've been using glass hair for around two-three weeks now and I'm telling you, the results are incredible. It gives instant shine and lasting gloss. This product not only seems to work at the time of use, but my hair seems 10x healthier long-term, too. Plus, the fact that it doesn't weigh down the hair at the root is a real bonus. Often these type of products can appear greasy and heavy, but this one feels just like water and adds no time onto my existing blow dry routine. I'm obsessed! Easiest 10/10 I've ever given.

I'm not a blowdry kind of gal, preferring to just let my curls do their natural thing (mostly out of laziness) but I'll always jump to try something that can deliver a boost of shine to my hair. The product is super straightforward to use, and while it recommends blowdrying with a brush, I decided to just dry it as is (again, laziness) as I didn't want to commit to the process of brushing out my whole head. Once my hair was dried, there was a noticeable increase in shine, leaving my curls looking healthier and glossier than before. If that's the kind of result I can get without following the instructions to a T, I'll definitely be giving it a proper go next time.

I looove a good haircare product, especially if it leaves my hair silky smooth, shiny and healthy-looking. And from the looks of it, the Glass Hair Smoothing Shine Spray promises to deliver exactly that. I have to admit, going into this review, I felt a teeny bit sceptical. Having tried so many hair mists, sprays and oils, I’d be lying if I told you that every single one of them made it to my go-to collection. However, after I got my hands on this spray, I was intrigued to see whether it met my high expectations. Spoiler alert: it absolutely did. Also, did I mention that it costs less than £10? An absolute steal. As directed, I applied the product liberally on semi-damp hair while avoiding the root area. Right off the bat, I loved how lightweight it felt upon application, it seriously felt like I was spraying coconut-scented water all over my hair. And after blow drying it like I would normally do (using my trusty Dyson Airwrap), I noticed that my hair felt a lot silkier than usual and gave off advertisement-worthy shine. I literally couldn’t stop staring at my hair in the mirror for a solid 10 minutes…
